Rose Bowl Riders is proud to offer both a full and partial service boarding facility to it’s membership. Our Board of Directors and volunteer members work hard to implement best management practices for horse keeping such as manure composting, exercise, care and vaccination requirements. Our equine residents enjoy stretching their legs during turnouts in our spacious main arena and cool, shady walks under the native oaks throughout the twelve acres.
Please be aware that stall availability is very limited and that waits of several years are not uncommon.
Boarding Amenities Include:
- 24 x 24 pipe stalls (half and fully covered)
- Washed concrete sand footing
- Horses fed twice daily
- Stalls cleaned twice daily
- Feed choices include premium Alfalfa, 3-way and Grass Hay
- Additional services such as blanketing, turnouts, supplement feeding, etc.
- Weekly feed/supply delivery
- Farrier/vet on call
Horses boarded must be exercised at least three times weekly as well as current on de-worming and mandatory vaccinations (West Nile and Flu/Rhino, every 6 months and Eastern/Western Encephalitis and Tetanus annually). Vaccination clinics are held on-site in the Spring and Fall along with follow-up clinics for floats, etc.
We offer two boarding wait lists for our members:
Stall Purchase Wait List: To be eligible for this list you must be a member in good standing for at least six months, fill out an application and submit a deposit equal to one month’s stall use fee ($95.00). The Stall Purchase Wait List is first come, first served and in the event of a stall sale, members on the list will be contacted in order. Your deposit will be refunded to you in the event you no longer wish to be on the list or if your membership lapses.
Stall Lease Wait List: This list is free, and you may be placed upon it as soon as you become a member. It is in alphabetical order and is provided as a courtesy to stall owners who are considering leasing their stall. Stall owners may lease to any member in good standing, whether on, or off the list.
